Marsonetto Type GT

This automobile is the last car conceived, designed, and built by Mario Marsonetto based on a tubular chassis equipped with a Renault 16 engine and transmission. It is a one-of-a-kind vehicle. It is approved for road use.

Mario Marsonetto, a coachbuilder and car dealer based in Lyon since 1952, built various one-off vehicles or models produced in very limited numbers. He was one of the first French pioneers to use composite materials (fiberglass and polyester resin) in the construction of his car bodies, beginning in 1955. He is among the very last automobile builders in Lyon.
