McLaren M7 A2

Denny Hulme's car.

The company founded in 1964 by New Zealand driver Bruce McLaren to build Sports-Prototype roadsters, built its first Formula 1 single-seater (M2B) in 1966. But it was the M7A model that earned it its first successes, with McLaren's own victory (chassis no. 1) at the Belgian Grand Prix and Denny Hulme's wins (chassis no. 2) in Italy and Canada, then, in 1969, in Mexico.
After its Formula 1 career, the car raced the 1970 season in England in Formula 5000, with the Chevrolet V8 engine with which it is still equipped today.
