The electric motor of the New Map Paupe is an old type of motor designed to power the motorcycle. It operates using batteries or accumulators that provide the electricity needed to run the motor. This French technology had the advantage of being quiet and not requiring gasoline.
Today, the New Map Paupe and its electric motor are mainly of historical interest to enthusiasts and collectors of vintage vehicles.
