Cyclomoteur PEUGEOT BIMA Type C49

The Mobylette is a French moped produced by Peugeot Motocycles starting in 1949.
It is equipped with a 49 cc 2-stroke engine, driving the rear wheel via a belt and sometimes a chain.

The Mobylette is known for its simplicity, reliability, and low fuel consumption, around 1 to 2 L/100 km depending on the model.
Very popular in the 1950s‑1970s, it was used for both urban and rural transportation.
Different series were produced, such as the AV, AV3, and AV44, with progressive improvements in engine performance and comfort.

The Mobylette was exported to many European countries and remains a prized item among vintage vehicle collectors.
