The Ultima brand, officially Ateliers Lyonnais Ultima, was based in Lyon and produced motorcycles between 1908 and 1958.
The 500 cc model is part of a series of mid- to large-capacity machines offered by Ultima in the 1930s, before World War II.
Although the brand was never an industrial giant, these Ultima 500 models represent a fine example of interwar French motorcycles, combining technical reliability with artisan production.
This model is particularly interesting due to its rarity and its place in the history of French motorcycling
