Motocyclette VIRATELLE 3 HP

This Viratelle 3HP single-cylinder motorcycle was one of two models offered by the brand starting in 1918 (a single-cylinder and a twin-cylinder version). The brand was founded by Marcel Viratelle in Villeurbanne, near Lyon, in 1905.

The Viratelle did not achieve great commercial success, with relatively limited distribution between 1905 and 1920. However, it gained recognition thanks to strong performances in the 1922 Tour de France and the International Six Days Enduro competition.
